Sumreeta Mathai, DVM, MS

Dr. Sumreeta Mathai was born and raised in Los Angeles County. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to receive her B.S. in Animal Science, in which she graduated with honors, and with a minor in Music. She also received her M.Sc. in Environmental and evolutionary biology with a thesis in animal behavior. She returned to Southern California to attain her DVM from the Western University of Health Sciences.

Her hobbies include yoga, drinking tea, and traveling the world. She loves to spend time with her family, friends, Cocker Spaniel, Mowgli, and her black cat, Aphrodite. She also loves to spend time with her extended dog family, Thompson, and Frankenstein
